Jungian counseling is a depth psychology inspired approach that focuses on the client's "psyche" or "soul". Through this lens we tune into "the guide within" and move toward individuation and wholeness. This is unique to other modalities in which the ego desire is the primary need attended to whereas in this route the ego/Self relationship is forefront. We will draw on concepts such as archetypes, myth, dreams, the shadow, persona, triggers, and symbolism to bring light to the unconscious parts of the Self, polarities, and shadow aspects that wish to be integrated. The overarching goal is to help individuals reconnect with their innate purpose and inner wisdom and grow in self awareness. There are two different paths available for Jungian Counseling: 1) Open-Ended Jungian Counseling is a spacious, ongoing process without a predetermined agenda or endpoint, allowing us to follow what emerges through conversation, dreams, images, relationships, and the deeper patterns of your life. Sessions are $150, 50 minutes, and scheduled as needed. 2) The 5-Session Jungian Depth Intensive offers a more focused container for exploring a particular question or pattern, combining reflective conversation with a more structured Jungian framework and personalized practices between sessions. Each session is 50 minutes, one time a week, and the total cost is $650. Jungian counseling may be a good fit for you if you feel stuck in certain patterns in your life or if you are in the midst or on the cusp of a major transition. Though I work with a wide audience, I am particularly equipped to collaborate with women, often in midlife, who grapple with issues around vocation/calling and work place dynamics.
